New Games...Strategic Pairs Rocks!!!

What fun it was today! After having three days of full on agility handling seminars with US Instructor Rob Michalski (which were fantastic and I learnt a heap as usual) today we got to have a go at Strategic Pairs (Pairs for short), Gamblers and Snooker - it was great fun - I actually ran 5 times in the Pairs - once with Raven, twice with Cypher, I ran Deb Hyde's Jasper once and then helped Andrea out with her Shelties running Rumour whilst she took Rosie on. I partnered up with some great dogs - Sue's BC Nifty, Cathy's Toller Alex, Nicola's BC Sage and Deb's Aussie Brooklyn. It wasn't that hard and it was good fun...gamblers Raven did really well again gaining a clear round, 2nd time we did it on 600 and she dropped a bar in the Gamble. Cy had a ball running the Pairs course a couple of times but was all done in by Gamblers so was a bit distracted. I have posted some pics of his A Frame, Dog Walk, a tyre and a jump pic. He may not be as fast as Raven but he sure is goodlookin'!! LOL!! And he is fun to run as he'll have a go at everything. Snooker I tried with Raven - still waiting for a good course design on this game as it is rather integral to how exciting and interesting the game is! I'll be posting next weekend for sure to report back on Cy's first trials and Raven's first bash at the *NEW* Open class.
